e-CAB Administrator Meets Support Committee to Expedite Election Process
The Administrator of the e-Commerce Association of Bangladesh (e-CAB), Dr. Saif Uddin Ahmed, Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce, held a meeting with the newly formed support committee to discuss the necessary steps for holding elections at the earliest possible time, while resuming full-scale services for members and addressing existing challenges.
The meeting was held on Saturday, 28 February, at the e-CAB office in Dhanmondi. During the meeting, a decision was taken to form several committees. Special emphasis was placed on accelerating office activities through committee formation, updating the members’ database, and restoring confidence in the organization.
Members of the support committee present at the meeting included Jannatul Haque, Kazi Mukituzzaman, Zia Ashraf, Mohammad Sahab Uddin, Abdus Salam, Mohammad Nurul Islam Babu, Syed Uchowat Imam, Saiful Islam, Hosne Ara Nuri, and Master Mohammad Anwar Sadat.
Prior to the meeting, the e-CAB Administrator, along with members of the new committee, participated in a wreath-laying and prayer ceremony at the graves of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman and Bangladesh’s first female Prime Minister Khaleda Zia at Chandrima Udyan, located beside the National Parliament Building.
