Eid Travel Tickets to Go Online from March 3
The Bangladesh Railway authority has decided to begin advance ticket sales from March 3 ahead of the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr. To facilitate homebound passengers during the Eid festival, 100% seats will once again be sold online.
On Tuesday, February 24, the railway authority announced the decision. According to the authority, advance ticket sales for Eid-ul-Fitr will commence on March 3, while return ticket sales will begin on March 23.
As per the railway’s decision, tickets for the two regions will again be sold in two phases. Tickets for all inter city trains operating in the western region will go on sale in the morning. Meanwhile, tickets for all trains operating in the eastern region will be sold in the afternoon.
