United Finance PLC Launches 'UMA' App, a First for Bangladesh’s NBFI Sector
United Finance PLC has launched a new customer app named UMA, offering real-time access to deposit and loan product information, instant account statements and certificates, and direct service requests — all from mobile devices.
The app was officially unveiled on Monday, 25 August, at a five-star hotel in Dhaka. It was announced that UMA is the first app in Bangladesh’s non-bank financial institution (NBFI) sector to enable the complete opening of deposit accounts online.
The launching ceremony was attended by United Finance PLC’s Chairman Nazmul Hassan, Managing Director Mohammad Rafiqul Islam, Deputy Managing Director Mohammad Abul Ahsan, along with customers, partners, and members of the media.
Speaking at the event, Chairman Nazmul Hassan said:

UMA is now available for download on Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
