SUST Appoints Dr. Mohammad Saiful Islam as Director of Student Advising and Guidance
Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) has appointed Professor Dr. Mohammad Saiful Islam of the Department of Mathematics as its new Director of Student Advising and Guidance.
The appointment was confirmed through an office order signed on Monday evening, February 23, by Acting Registrar Kalam Ahmed Chowdhury.
According to the office order, Professor Dr. Mohammad Saiful Islam has been appointed to the post of Director of Student Advising and Guidance until further notice. He will be entitled to allowances and other benefits as per existing rules.
The same office order also expressed gratitude to Professor Dr. Eshak Mia and relieved him of his responsibilities from the position.
Speaking on the appointment, Professor Dr. Mohammad Saiful Islam said, “I feel very pleased to have the opportunity to work for the welfare of students. I will try my best to do everything within my capacity, in accordance with the rules, for the benefit of students, Insha’Allah. In this regard, I seek sincere cooperation from all concerned.”
