PM Tarique Rahman Meets Service Chiefs at Secretariat
The chiefs of the three armed services paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on Thursday morning, February 19.
The meeting took place at the Secretariat, where Army Chief General Waker-Uz-Zaman, Navy Chief Admiral Mohammad Nazmul Hassan, and Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan met with the Prime Minister.
Earlier in the morning, the Prime Minister also held separate meetings with the Directors General of the National Security Intelligence (NSI) and the Directorate General of Forces Intelligence (DGFI).
Meanwhile, this marked the second consecutive day that Prime Minister Tarique Rahman visited the Secretariat. During the day, he is scheduled to attend an inter-ministerial meeting regarding the family card initiative.
He entered the Secretariat at 9:10am.
