Mobile Phones Distributed to Night Guards in Dhaka-13 Constituency

In observance of Bangladesh’s Independence Day, mobile phones were distributed among night guards in Mohammadpur, Adabor, and Sher-e-Bangla Nagar areas of Dhaka-13 constituency.
The initiative was carried out under the supervision of Kayas Mahmud, former president of the Australia Chhatra Dal and president of Voice for Bangladesh Democracy, Australia. On behalf of BNP’s acting chairman, Tarique Rahman; medical supplies were also distributed alongside the mobile phones on Wednesday, March 26.
Expressing deep respect for the late President Ziaur Rahman and wishing a speedy recovery for Begum Khaleda Zia, Kayas Mahmud stated, “Through this initiative, night guards will be able to communicate more efficiently with law enforcement authorities, thereby enhancing security in the area. The provision of mobile phones will enable quick responses to any emergency situation.”
He further emphasized the importance of coordination between local residents, security personnel, and law enforcement agencies, adding, “We must all remain vigilant and work collectively to strengthen the security of our communities.”
