BTRC Issues NEIR Notice, Urges Use of Official Website
The Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) has issued a special cautionary notice regarding services under the National Equipment Identity Register (NEIR), urging users to access the service only through the designated official website.
The request was made in a special announcement published on BTRC’s official Facebook page on Tuesday, January 6.
According to the notice, users are advised to avail all NEIR-related services exclusively through BTRC’s official website: neir.btrc.gov.bd.
The commission further cautioned the public not to share personal information through any unauthorized website or link. It also warned against paying any fees through misleading links to access NEIR services, clarifying that all NEIR-related services are being provided completely free of charge.
