LG Launches Lightweight Legion: Gram Pro 17 & 16 Unveiled at CES 2026

LG has announced the unveiling of its new Gram Pro series laptops at CES 2026, featuring the Gram Pro 17 and Gram Pro 16. The company claims the Gram Pro 17 is the “world’s lightest 17-inch RTX laptop.”

The new laptops incorporate LG’s proprietary advanced “Aerominum” material, designed to reduce weight while increasing strength and scratch resistance.

The Gram Pro 17 comes with a 2,560×1,600 resolution display and an NVIDIA RTX 5050 laptop GPU with 8GB of video memory. LG states it offers sufficient performance for content creation and graphics-intensive tasks, although the device is not marketed as a full-fledged gaming laptop.

Meanwhile, the Gram Pro 16 features a 2,880×1,800 OLED display and Intel’s latest Core Ultra processor.

Details on weight, pricing, and release dates for both laptops are yet to be announced, with further updates expected during CES 2026.
