Admit card downloads have begun for students seeking admission to MBBS programmes at government and private medical and dental colleges for the 2025–26 academic year. Starting Sunday, 7 December, applicants have been able to download their admit cards. The last date for downloading is 9 December. Students must log in with their user ID and password on the official admission website to download their admit cards. Similarly, results will be available on both the Directorate General of Medical Education (DGME) and Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) websites.
Applicants will be able to download their attendance sheets for the examination from 9–10 December (Tuesday–Wednesday). The admission test is scheduled to be held on Friday, 12 December, from 10:00 am to 11:15 am.
Instructions for candidates state that mobile phones, digital devices, calculators, wristwatches, or pocket watches are strictly prohibited inside the exam hall. Candidates may only bring a ballpoint pen, their coloured admit card, and their HSC/equivalent registration card.
Seats in government medical and dental colleges/units will be allocated based on national merit ranking and candidates’ preferences, covering both general and reserved categories. Reserved seats will be filled from among eligible candidates in each category strictly on the basis of merit. The final college placement for each selected candidate will be determined automatically based on merit position and college choice.
