Cybersecurity firm Sophos has launched a new service, Sophos Intellics, in collaboration with Microsoft to help prevent cyberattacks. The service integrates Sophos’s cyber threat intelligence system, Intellics, with Microsoft Security Copilot and Microsoft 365 Copilot.

Through this integration, organizations of all sizes—from small businesses to large enterprises—can access Sophos’s threat intelligence and respond to cyberattacks more quickly and efficiently.

Sophos claims that Intellics will now provide cyberattack analysis and explanations within Microsoft Security Copilot. The Security Copilot acts as an AI assistant that helps security operation centers and IT teams identify threats by consolidating data from Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Intune, Entra, and Purview. Analysts and users can ask questions in plain language to analyze or investigate threats and risks.

Drawing on experience securing over 600,000 organizations worldwide, Sophos leverages real-time cybersecurity data to keep users updated with the latest threat information. Sophos Intellics will also be available on Microsoft’s new Security Store, alongside other software, services, and APIs.

Additionally, Sophos Intellics is now integrated with Microsoft 365 Copilot. Users can access threat intelligence directly within familiar Microsoft tools such as Teams and Copilot Chat. IT, risk management, and business users can query Sophos cyber intelligence in plain language, quickly verify links, files, or websites, and enhance daily cybersecurity awareness.
