Xiaomi’s 15th-Year Milestone Marks Major Recognition for Bangladeshi Leader Dewan Kanon
Global technology brand Xiaomi celebrated its 15th anniversary in Beijing, China, with the grand staging of the Xiaomi Global Conference 2025. At the event, Dewan Kanon, Founder and Chief Executive of DX Group, received a special award for his outstanding contribution. The prestigious honour was handed over by Xiaomi’s Global CFO, Alain Lam.

According to the announcement, this distinguished recognition was presented to only six partners worldwide, with Dewan Kanon being the sole awardee from Bangladesh. The honour acknowledges his remarkable role in advancing Xiaomi’s global success and growth within the Bangladeshi market. It also reflects the rising global presence of Bangladesh’s technology sector, as well as DX Group’s unwavering commitment to innovation, partnership, and excellence.
Speaking on the achievement, Dewan Kanon said, “Starting from zero, when Xiaomi was a new name in the country, our team and partners worked tirelessly to build the foundation of trust with Mi Fans in Bangladesh.
