In the wake of an attack at King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, Biman Bangladesh Airlines has suspended all scheduled flights from Dhaka to Dammam for October 23, 24, and 25. The announcement was released by Biman's Public Relations department on Thursday night, October 22. Correspondent sources reported that following security assessments regarding ongoing regional air strikes, all operations on the Dhaka-Riyadh route have been placed on hold until October 31. Relevant authorities stated that passenger safety remains the top operational priority amidst the evolving geopolitical crisis.

Biman management confirmed that revised flight schedules and further operational decisions regarding the suspended routes will be published in due course. Meanwhile, to preserve air connectivity, flight operations from Dhaka to Jeddah and Madinah will continue uninterrupted as per the original timetable. Modern aviation positioning and tracking technologies are being utilized to monitor alternative air corridors for safe passenger transit.

The Public Relations department advised that passengers needing urgent travel to Dammam or Riyadh may redirect their journeys through Jeddah and Madinah International Airports, subject to seat availability. Passengers are encouraged to visit their nearest Biman Bangladesh Airlines sales center for ticket reissuance, rebooking, and updated flight intelligence. Standard aviation safety protocols will be strictly enforced across all operational channels.
