Apple Delays Next iPhone Air Release
Nov 11, 2025 11:30

Apple has decided not to release the next version of its popular iPhone Air model ahead of schedule. According to The Information, the company has postponed its planned launch to the fall of 2026 due to weak sales performance. The report was also carried by Reuters.

Apple first introduced the iPhone Air in 2025 as a lighter and thinner version of the standard iPhone lineup. However, analysts noted that the model came with certain limitations in battery life and camera performance.

The company has not issued any official statement regarding the decision. Market observers, however, suggest that demand for the iPhone Air has remained significantly lower than expected.

Recently, the iPhone Air received approval for e-SIM service in the Chinese market, leading to the opening of pre-orders. The model does not include a physical SIM tray and operates solely via e-SIM connectivity.

Industry analysts believe that the continued decline in sales and subdued market response are the key reasons behind Apple’s decision to delay the release of the next version.
