Reliance Reinforces with Reliance Intelligence

Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Industries has launched a new subsidiary, Reliance Intelligence, aimed at building national-level AI infrastructure for India. According to a report by TechCrunch, the first phase of the initiative will see the establishment of a large-scale AI data center in Jamnagar in partnership with Google Cloud. This center will provide AI services to businesses, developers, and government agencies.

In addition, Reliance is set to roll out a Llama-based enterprise AI platform through a joint $100 million investment with Meta. This platform is designed to serve areas such as sales, marketing, IT, and customer service. There are also indications of a potential future partnership with OpenAI.

Reliance has further plans for global market expansion and has announced that Jio Platforms will go public with an IPO in the first half of 2026. The company has already established partnerships with Microsoft, Google, and Meta, and has introduced AI-powered services such as JioAICloud, JioHotstar, and smart glasses branded as JioFrames.
