BCS Breakthrough: 1,219 Pass 49th Special Education Cadre Exam
The results of the 49th Special BCS examination for the education cadre have been officially published, with a total of 1,219 candidates successfully passing. The preliminary results are temporarily available on the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) website (www.bpsc.gov.bd) and Teletalk Bangladesh Limited’s portal (http://bpsc.teletalk.com.bd).
According to a notice from BPSC, the oral examinations are scheduled to begin on October 26, following a one-week interval after the results’ release. The results were announced on Sunday, October 19, at 10:10 PM, signed by BPSC’s Exam Controller (Cadre Branch), Masuma Afrin.
BPSC Public Relations Officer S.M. Matiur Rahman confirmed that the MCQ-based written examination for the 49th Special BCS was conducted on October 10, and the results have now been declared. Temporarily, candidates who passed can check their results on the commission’s official website or Teletalk Bangladesh Limited’s portal.
Earlier, on July 21 this year, BPSC invited applications for the 49th Special BCS for the general education cadre. The written MCQ examination was then conducted on October 10 across multiple centers in Dhaka and other divisional cities. Out of 176,670 registered candidates, the attendance rate stood at 56.49 percent.
