Incubation Bootcamp And Policy Lab At DIU
Preneur Lab StartKoro Nurtures Tech Entrepreneurs
- Preneur Lab hosted StartKoro Season-5 bootcamp at DIU
- Sixty emerging founders trained on MVP and market validation
- Integrated AI Hub and policy reforms empower startups
Accelerating entrepreneurial validation, digital prototyping, and regulatory advocacy among young founders, Preneur Lab Youth and Innovation Trust hosted the ‘Campus Incubation Bootcamp and Smart Policy Reform Lab’. Organized in partnership with Atlas Network under the flagship StartKoro Season-5 roadmap, the intensive day-long convention guided university students through early-stage enterprise execution.
According to institutional sources, the bootcamp was held on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at Dhaka International University (DIU), convening nearly 60 aspiring student entrepreneurs. The regional program follows identical institutional deployments previously staged across university campuses in Savar, Rangpur, Sylhet, and Barishal.
Mentoring sessions were led by Alamin Pranto, Director of Start2ScaleUp, alongside M. Ashraful Tanveer, Head of Operations and Administration at Preneur Lab, supported by DIU faculty speakers. Cohorts were systematically guided across business ideation, empirical market validation, consumer problem profiling, unit economics, and end-to-end building of minimum viable products (MVPs).
Parallel deliberations at the Smart Policy Reform Lab focused on untangling regulatory bottlenecks spanning commercial licensing, tax structures, and early-stage capital access. Highlighting that standalone incubation fails without structural ease of doing business, participants across five provincial labs synthesized over 260 discrete recommendations. These inputs are being aggregated into a comprehensive policy whitepaper targeting streamlined registration, licensing tenures, and SME financing instruments.
Bolstering regulatory navigation, the organizers introduced the ‘StartKoro AI Hub’ in July. The proprietary artificial intelligence framework automates local compliance queries, business documentation, tax estimates, and operational modeling, having already onboarded 100 enterprise users through September.
To date, StartKoro Season-5 has engaged over 365 entrepreneurs, facilitating the launch of more than 60 commercial ventures and generating approximately 200 sustainable jobs. The initiative targets expanding incubation footprints across ten cities to decentralize capital and infrastructure away from Dhaka while embedding regulatory literacy into startup incubation.
