Tech giant Samsung is set to officially unveil its much-anticipated Android XR headset on October 21. The special Galaxy event, titled “World Wide Open,” will be held at 8:00 PM Bangladesh time and streamed live on Samsung’s official website and YouTube channel, reports Engadget.

Internally codenamed Project Moohan, the device will be officially introduced as the Samsung Galaxy XR. It will be the first commercial product developed on the Android XR platform, designed to deliver both virtual and augmented reality experiences.

Industry insiders suggest that Samsung’s announcement came shortly after key details about Project Moohan were leaked last week. The company had earlier hinted at plans to bring the headset to market by 2025.

Experts expect Samsung to disclose the price and launch date of the Galaxy XR during the “World Wide Open” event.
