Six officers working at the Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority’s headquarters have been transferred and reassigned for administrative reasons, according to a circular issued on August 18. The directive was previously announced in an office order signed by S.M. Farid Uddin, Director of Finance and Administration, on August 14.

The order states that the transferred officers must join their new postings by August 17; otherwise, they will automatically be considered on stand release from August 18.

As per the directive, Md. Golam Kibria, Deputy Director (current duties) at the ICT Tower headquarters, has been transferred to Rajshahi Hi-Tech Park. Kibria, a resident of Nachol in Chapainawabganj, has also been assigned additional responsibility for the Natore IT Training and Incubation Center, previously overseen by former State Minister Polok.

Sources say that last year, on September 22, Kibria was transferred to Sylhet Hi-Tech Park, but within a week, on September 29, he was reassigned to Hi-Tech Park Kalihati in Gazipur.

The order also stipulates that Shahriar Al Hasan, Deputy Director (current duties) of the Investment Division, will now handle the OSS Division and Public Relations Division. Deputy Director Shafik Uddin Bhuiya of the Administration Division has been given additional responsibility for the Planning and Research Division and will oversee administrative matters going forward.

Assistant Engineer (E/M) Md. Hasan Ibne Shahi has been transferred from Kalihati Hi-Tech Park to Sylhet Hi-Tech Park, while Assistant Engineer (Civil) Md. Masum Hossain has moved from Sylhet Hi-Tech Park to Kalihati Hi-Tech Park.

Additionally, Deputy Director (Collection) Md. Mahfuzul Kabir has been transferred from Rajshahi Hi-Tech Park to Jashore Software Technology Park, without any additional responsibilities.
