Pebble Pioneer Presents Pebble Time 2 with Premium Features
Eric Migicovsky, the original creator of the Pebble smartwatch, has unveiled the design and specifications of the new Pebble Time 2. His company, Core Devices, regained the “Pebble” trademark after announcing in March, which has led to the naming of the new models as Pebble 2 Duo and Pebble Time 2, according to TechCrunch.
The new models feature stainless steel front and back panels, steel buttons, a multicolor RGB LED backlight, a second microphone, a compass sensor, and a screw-mounted back cover. They will also include a 1.5-inch, 64-color e-paper display, touchscreen functionality, heart rate monitor, step and sleep tracking, a speaker, 30-day battery backup, and water resistance.
Priced at $225 for pre-order, the watch will connect to smartphones via Bluetooth, enabling notification display, music control, and internet connectivity.
