AI for All: Samsung Launches Galaxy A26 and A36 5G at Affordable Prices

Samsung Bangladesh has announced that artificial intelligence (AI) is now more accessible than ever with the official launch of the Galaxy A26 and A36 5G smartphones in the country at reasonable prices.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, the company highlighted that the introduction of the Galaxy A series has brought AI within the reach of the masses. These devices feature innovative tools such as “Circle to Search,” allowing users to perform instant searches simply by circling objects on the screen. Another key highlight of the series is the inclusion of Google Gemini, a powerful productivity tool that enhances creativity and offers intelligent suggestions. Additional AI features such as “Create Filter” and “Object Eraser” aim to transform the way users interact with information and images.

Syed Md. Badrul Arifeen, Head of Product and Marketing Strategy at Samsung Electronics MX Division, commented, “AI has now become an integral part of smartphone users’ lives. With our latest Galaxy A series devices — the A26 5G and A36 5G — we aim to make AI features even more accessible to everyone. Both the Galaxy A26 5G and A36 5G are equipped with Super AMOLED displays, 50-megapixel primary lenses, and 5,000mAh batteries. The A36 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, offering enhanced performance.

To ensure users stay current, both models come with six years of OS upgrades, setting a new benchmark in long-term software support for budget-friendly devices.

The Galaxy A26 5G (8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant) is available in Black and Mint color options for BDT 34,999. The Galaxy A36 5G is available in two variants and three color options: Lavender, Lime, and Black. The 8GB + 128GB model is priced at BDT 39,999, while the 8GB + 256GB variant is available at a special launch price of BDT 44,999.
