Bangladesh Submarine Cables Posts Mixed Earnings in Q3 FY25

angladesh Submarine Cables PLC, a listed company in the telecommunications sector of the stock market, has published its unaudited financial reports for the third quarter (January–March 2025) and the nine-month period (July 2024–March 2025) of the current fiscal year. The company reported a rise in earnings per share (EPS) in the third quarter, although EPS declined on a cumulative nine-month basis.

According to information released by the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) on Tuesday (April 22), the company’s board of directors reviewed and approved the financial statements in a meeting held on Monday (April 21).

As per the disclosed data, the company's EPS for Q3 of FY25 stood at BDT 2.33, up from BDT 1.99 in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year. This represents an increase of BDT 0.34 or 17.08 percent.

However, the EPS for the nine-month period totaled BDT 6.83, compared to BDT 8.29 during the corresponding period of the previous year—marking a decrease of BDT 1.49 or 17.61 percent.

As of March 31, 2025, the company’s net asset value per share (NAVPS) stood at BDT 86.41.
