Infinix Showcases Two Groundbreaking Innovations at MWC 2025 in Barcelona

At the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 in Barcelona, Infinix, the renowned technology brand, unveiled two groundbreaking innovations. These include Solar Energy-Reservable Technology, which extends battery life using ambient light, and an AI-driven feature that allows users to customize smartphone designs. The first application of these technologies will be seen in the Infinix Note 50 series, scheduled for release in late March 2025.

Infinix Bangladesh announced that these innovations align with the company's vision of empowerment through AI, eco-tech, and proprietary advancements. According to a press release, Infinix's Solar Energy-Reservable Concept Technology harnesses energy from both indoor and outdoor light sources and stores it within a prototype smartphone case. This case then transfers the stored energy to the smartphone through internal connection points, ensuring a seamless charging process.

A key part of this innovation is the AI-powered "Sunflower" wireless charging technology, which mimics the behavior of a sunflower by adjusting its position toward the light source for maximum energy absorption. Equipped with smart light-sensitive sensors and an AI-controlled charging system, this technology can optimize charging within a three-meter radius and is expected to expand further in the future. Additionally, the AI-driven power management system—Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT)—intelligently regulates voltage and current, minimizing overheating and battery degradation risks.

The second major innovation, E-Color Shift 2.0, introduces a new dimension of personalization to smartphone design through AI technology. This feature enables users to alter their phone’s color and design according to their preferences and external environment. The customized model offers six dynamic patterns and six vibrant color palettes, creating 30 different combinations. The AI-recognized model utilizes sensors to automatically adjust the back cover’s color based on weather conditions, wallpapers, and surroundings, ensuring a seamless and personalized color-shifting experience for users.
