Bangladesh Army and DNCC to Collaborate on AI-Based Traffic Management

The Bangladesh Army and Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) will work together on data center management, urban security, and AI-based traffic management to reduce congestion in the city. DNCC Administrator Mohammad Ejaz disclosed this information following a courtesy meeting with Army Chief General Waker-Uz-Zaman at the Army Headquarters on Wednesday, February 26.
During the meeting, the Army Chief and DNCC Administrator discussed joint efforts for infrastructural development within DNCC’s jurisdiction.
"The Army is already engaged in infrastructural development in DNCC’s newly formed 18 wards. With its expertise in logistics and technical support, the Army will continue assisting DNCC in future infrastructural projects," said the DNCC Administrator. "Additionally, the Army and DNCC will work together on data center management, ensuring urban security, and implementing AI-based traffic management to alleviate congestion."
According to DNCC sources, the Army Chief encouraged the City Corporation to take initiatives for youth skill development and human resource enhancement. He also praised the DNCC Administrator’s research on the strategic role of Bangladesh’s rivers in the Liberation War.
