1500 applicants called for vacant seats in engineering cluster

In the academic year 2023-24, there are vacant seats for undergraduate admissions in various departments of the University of Engineering under the Engineering Cluster - CUET, KUET and RUET. As the seats are not filled even after the third phase, 1500 students have been called for admission in the fourth phase.

The authorities have asked them to appear with the necessary documents on July 3. Admitted candidates are given the admission exam website containing the department and university and department wise number of vacant seats.

On March 3, the admission test of engineering cluster was held. According to the notification regarding the admission process in the fourth step, the students were admitted on May 8, 9 and 29 from the published merit list of the candidates who passed the admission test of CUET, KUET and RUET in the academic year 2023-24.

As the seats are vacant after the third stage admission, students with merit rank of 5 thousand 801 to 6 thousand 500 have been instructed to appear before the verification committee for admission in their respective examination centers on July 3 (Wednesday). On this day, admission will be taken from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM in Engineering Departments and Urban and Regional Planning Departments. Candidates appearing before the verification committee on the basis of merit will be admitted subject to the availability of seats. If more candidates appear than the number of seats, a waiting list will be kept in order of merit with additional candidates. Later, candidates will be called for admission from the said list subject to vacancy.

Candidates to do:
Merit candidates have to login as Registered Applicant by clicking on the 'Application' tab by entering the link https://admissionckruet.ac.bd. After that the previously filled 'Online Choice Form' and all other forms indicated on the Dashboard should be downloaded and filled (printed copy) and placed at the time of admission.
