Xiaomi Accelerates Growth in EV Market with Impressive SU7 Sales

Chinese tech giant Xiaomi is making rapid strides in the electric vehicle (EV) market. Last year, the company delivered over 150,000 units of its first electric sedan, the SU7, marking a significant milestone in its swift expansion into the automobile industry. The news was reported by ArenaEV.

Since its launch in March 2024, the SU7 has gained immense popularity among consumers. In December alone, Xiaomi delivered more than 25,000 units of the SU7.

This year, Xiaomi aims to double its deliveries to 300,000 vehicles. The SU7 is available in three variants—Standard, Pro, and Max—priced at 215,900 RMB, 245,900 RMB, and 299,900 RMB, respectively.

Xiaomi founder Lei Jun recently showcased the SU7’s unique parking capabilities and announced a special edition to commemorate the company’s 15th anniversary. Deliveries for this edition will begin in March. Additionally, Xiaomi plans to launch the SU7 Ultra in March 2025 and the YU7 SUV model in June or July 2025.
