Third Edition of Youth Startup Summit Kicks Off Across Divisions
The third edition of the Youth Startup Summit is set to begin, spanning five regional phases until the third week of February. This summit, aimed at young innovators and entrepreneurs, will feature a Youth Innovation Challenge, seminars and workshops, a startup exhibition, as well as networking and mentorship opportunities.
Organized by Startup Bangladesh Limited, the summit will bring together budding entrepreneurs showcasing innovative tech-driven solutions in fintech, health tech, edtech, and climate protection. The best startup will receive a cash prize of BDT 300,000, while the second and third-place winners will be awarded BDT 200,000 and BDT 100,000, respectively.
According to sources, the Rajshahi and Rangpur Youth Startup Summits will take place concurrently at Rajshahi University on February 6. This will be followed by summits in Sylhet on February 13, Khulna and Barishal on February 17, Chattogram on February 22, and Mymensingh and Dhaka in the final week of February.
Online registration for participation has already begun.
Policy Advisor Faiz Ahmad Taiyeb stated that the ICT Division will release further details about the event on Monday. He also confirmed that following the divisional seminars, the grand finale will be held at the China-Bangladesh Friendship Conference Center in Dhaka at the end of February.
