DSNOC Hosts Annual Get-Together with Festivities and Sports
The annual get-together of the Dhaka South Network Owners’ Community (DSNOC) took place at the Seashore Park & Resort in Purbachal, just outside the capital, with vibrant festivities. The event, held on Saturday, brought together internet service providers from Dhaka South in a family-friendly gathering.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by Nazmul Karim Bhuiyan, General Secretary of the Internet Service Providers Association of Bangladesh (ISPAB), and Saiful Islam Siddique, Vice President of the Internet International Gateway Association of Bangladesh (IIGAB). DSNOC President Mir Mosharraf Hossain and General Secretary SD Shaheen were also present. The event commenced with a recitation from the Quran, followed by speeches emphasizing the importance of decentralizing power to empower the broadband internet sector in Bangladesh.
The gathering featured various sporting events, including cricket, football, kho-kho, polo, and darts, engaging participants of all ages and genders. Additionally, the venue housed eight exhibition stalls showcasing internet service equipment such as switches, ONU, OLT, SFP, and splicers.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from ISP and IIG owners. The festivities will conclude in the evening with an award ceremony honoring the winners of various competitions.
