Smart school software to be gifted in 300 schools on Sheikh Russel Day: Palak

State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak announced that on behalf of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, he will gift smart school software to 300 union-level schools on Sheikh Russel National Day on October 18. At the same time, the ICT state minister called on the 'civilized countries' to bring back Sheikh Russel's killers and face justice. Palak made this call at a press conference announcing the program of the second Sheikh Russel Day on Wednesday. He said that 8 lakh 90 thousand 370 people participated in the online quiz organized on the occasion of the day celebration. The winners will be awarded on October 18. On the occasion of the day, an international seminar has been organized on October 16. This day the day will be celebrated from Upazila to international level in foreign embassies. Concert for Peace and Justice will be held. Earlier, Additional Secretary ICT Division Mustafa Kamal presented the program of the day in his welcome speech. He said that on the occasion of the day, various programs including discussion meetings will be held at all departments, districts and Upazila levels of the country. Drawing, chess, national football tournament, cultural competition will be held under the initiative of Sheikh Russel National Children and Adolescent Council. On October 18, at the Hall of Fame of the International Convention Center; a national seminar titled ‘The brutal killing of Sheikh Russell is a dark chapter in the path of justice, peace and progress’ will be held at the same place. ‘Concert for Peace and Justice’ will be staged at 6 pm. Also on October 16 at 9 p.m. An international seminar titled ‘Tragic End of Sheikh Russel: A Shame in Human History’ will be held at Bangladesh Computer Council Auditorium. Bangla Academy president and poet Selina Hossain, Sheikh Russel Shishu-Kishor Parishod president KM Shahidullah, and a2i project director Dewan Muhammad Humayun spoke in the program which was presided ov4er by the Digital Security Agency Director General Khairul Amin.
