Dr. Rumana Daula, Head of Medical Services Department of ACI Pharma and ACI Healthcare Equipment, said at the event that the pump system will save crores of diabetes patients from the pain of taking insulin through needle. A CGM system is like a closed circuit camera, which means that every moment of the event is captured in it, i.e. every moment sugar can be measured. It detects blood sugar fluctuations and changes through graphs. Along with this, a small mobile phone-shaped insulin pump is attached to the abdomen with the help of a belt. A very fine plastic tube is passed under the skin, through which insulin enters the body as needed. By applying it to the body, daily activities, sports, exercise, bathing - all can be done effortlessly. This device, like the pancreas, will measure blood sugar fluctuations and tell you how much insulin is needed and automatically inject that amount of insulin into the body.
Regional Manager of Medtronic Bangladesh Private Limited, Md. Roknuzzaman highlighted the benefits and ease of use of diabetes control using the "780G Insulin Pump".
