Cashless e-Namjari to start from Sunday
From tomorrow, Sunday (October 2), record correction and khatian supply fees will no longer be charged in cash at the relevant land offices under the Ministry of Lands across the country. Fees must be paid online. With the implementation of this system, cashless e-registration in land management will be implemented as promised by the government. This information has been informed in the press release sent by the Ministry of Land.
In a press release, the Ministry of Land has informed that through a circular issued by the Ministry on September 7, after 30 September 2022, a total of one thousand 100 (one thousand one hundred) taka for record correction and khatian supply fee has been ordered to the concerned land service provider offices to accept only online for public interest.
According to that order, these two fees (record correction and delivery of khatian) will no longer be collected in cash from Sunday as the first working day after September 30 in the respective land offices under the Ministry of Lands.
According to the Ministry of Lands, the total actual cost for registration is 1 thousand 170 taka for the payment of court fee 50 taka, notice issuance fee 20 taka, record correction fee 1000 taka and khatian supply fee 100 taka. These fees have to be paid online through mobile wallet or internet banking from now on. Cannot be paid manually or in cash in any way.
No fee shall be applicable for correction of any error in DCR and Khatian. Similarly, if an unapproved registration application is reopened for not receiving information related documents as per the circular of the Ministry of Lands, a total of Tk. 1000 will be charged in this regard. The Ministry of Lands also felt that the online DCR with QR code should be collected quickly to avoid complications if the Namazari is finally approved.
