Solar Equity Venture Partners with LankaBangla and Southeast Bank Capital for IPO

DHAKA, August 10, 2026: Solar Equity Venture PLC has entered into an issue management agreement with LankaBangla Investments PLC and Southeast Bank Capital Services Limited as part of its strategy to expand renewable energy investments and raise long-term capital through Bangladesh's capital market.
The strategic partnership was formally signed on August 9, 2026.
Under the agreement, LankaBangla Investments and Southeast Bank Capital Services will act as joint issue managers to guide Solar Equity Venture's capital-raising activities and assist in the targeted Initial Public Offering (IPO) process, subject to necessary regulatory approvals from the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC).
The agreement was signed by Ejaz Al Kudrat A Mazid, Managing Director of Solar Equity Venture; Iftekhar Alam, CEO of LankaBangla Investments; and Md. Mominul Huq, CFA, Managing Director of Southeast Bank Capital Services. Khandokar Saffat Reza, CEO and Director of LankaBangla Securities, was present as a witness.
Solar Equity Venture operates as an institutional platform leveraging the project development and execution capabilities of its sponsor company, Solar EPC Development Limited. Since 2018, Solar EPC Development has been engaged in feasibility studies, engineering, procurement, construction (EPC), and long-term operations of rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects across industrial, commercial, and government sectors in Bangladesh.
By tapping into the capital market, Solar Equity Venture aims to strengthen its corporate structure and build a diversified clean energy portfolio through project development and acquisitions while bridging domestic and foreign investors with Bangladesh's growing green energy sector.
