Dhaka, July 13, 2026 | Press Release: The announcement was made during the Bitopia Annual Planning (BAP) 2026–27 conference held on Sunday at Fortis Downtown Resort in Dhaka. Members of the board, chief executive officers of subsidiary companies, divisional heads and senior executives attended the day-long event.

Under Vision 2030, Bitopia aims to establish a global technology ecosystem originating from Bangladesh. Expansion into new international markets, including Africa, is also part of the roadmap.

During the conference, strategic business plans, annual budgets and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the 2026–27 fiscal year were approved for all business units, with new growth, innovation and international expansion targets outlined.

Founded by entrepreneur Mohammad Monir Hossain through freelancing in 2013, the business evolved into BDCalling IT Limited in 2017 and has since grown into Bitopia Group with 22 subsidiaries. The group currently employs around 5,000 people and provides software development, enterprise solutions, cloud services, AI-powered technologies, BPO and digital marketing services to clients in more than 80 countries.

Bitopia plans to double its workforce from 5,000 to 10,000 employees within the next year, aiming to strengthen Bangladesh's skilled technology workforce alongside business expansion.

The conference also introduced the concept of Bitopia City, a long-term technology hub featuring data centres, research and innovation facilities, corporate headquarters, skills development institutes, AI-powered GPU infrastructure, high-performance computing, cloud platforms and advanced data analytics capabilities.
