Grameenphone has inaugurated a new Grameenphone Center (GPC) in Dinajpur to expand customer services and strengthen digital connectivity in the country’s northwestern region.

The company announced on Monday, May 25, that the inauguration ceremony was recently held at Ganesh Tala in Dinajpur.

Among those present at the event were Grameenphone Chief Risk Officer Md. Arif Uddin, Head of Customer Experience Abdullah Al Mahmud, and Rajshahi Circle Business Head Atikul Hossain. Dinajpur GPC partner Tamal Majumdar and other guests also attended the ceremony.

The newly launched center incorporates terracotta-inspired design motifs from the historic Kantajew Temple in its architectural theme.

According to Grameenphone, nearly 99 percent of the customer services provided at the center are paperless. The entire facility has also been developed using environmentally friendly materials, reflecting the company’s commitment to digital transformation and sustainable development.

The telecom operator said the demand for modern and seamless customer services in Dinajpur has been increasing alongside urbanization, expanding education, and the growing use of digital technologies. The new center has been launched to meet those evolving customer needs.

Speaking at the inauguration event, Md. Arif Uddin said Grameenphone remains committed to ensuring easier, smarter, and more environmentally friendly services for customers, adding that the Dinajpur center is part of that continuing effort.
