Walton Eid Campaign Creates Another Millionaire in Mymensingh
A customer from Mymensingh has become a millionaire after purchasing a refrigerator from Walton under the company’s ongoing Eid-ul-Adha digital campaign.
Khokon Mia of Bhaluka upazila in Mymensingh won a cash prize of 1 million taka through Walton’s “Digital Campaign Season-24.”
The prize cheque was officially handed over during a ceremony held at Walton’s corporate office in Dhaka on Sunday, May 24. Popular Bangladeshi film actor Amin Khan and Walton Distributor Network Head of Sales Md. Firoz Alam jointly presented the cheque to the winner.
Also present at the event were Walton Refrigerator Chief Business Officer Tahsinul Haque, Walton Chief Marketing Officer Zoheb Ahmed, and Enamul Haque, owner of Walton distributor showroom “Haque Enterprise.”
Under the ongoing “Digital Campaign Season-24,” six Walton customers have already become millionaires after purchasing Walton products.
Besides Khokon Mia, the other winners include businessman Mahmudul Hasan from Dakshinkhan in Dhaka, homemaker Afroza Begum from Bagatipara in Natore, retired bank official Suprakash Chakma from Bandarban, Kuddus Hawlader from Bagerhat, and homemaker Tahmina Akter from Narsingdi.
Apart from the millionaire prizes, numerous customers have also received cash vouchers worth lakhs of taka and various gifts, including Argentina fan jerseys. Walton said the campaign benefits will continue until Eid-ul-Adha.
After receiving the cheque, Khokon Mia expressed his excitement, saying the experience felt like a dream and that he plans to use the money to build his dream house.
