Walton Launches Campaign with Millionaire Rewards
Country’s tech giant Walton has launched its nationwide “Digital Campaign Season-24” ahead of the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha, offering customers another opportunity to become millionaires. Under this initiative, buyers of Walton refrigerators, air conditioners, washing machines, or BLDC fans will have the chance to win BDT 10 lakh. In addition, customers can receive cash vouchers worth hundreds of thousands of taka and guaranteed gifts, including Argentina fan jerseys.
The offer, which began on April 8, will remain valid until Eid-ul-Azha and applies to purchases made from any Walton Plaza, distributor showrooms, or the online platform “e-Plaza” across the country.
On Thursday, April 9, Walton authorities announced that the new season was formally inaugurated on Wednesday, April 8, at the Walton corporate office in the capital by S M Mahbubul Alam, Managing Director of Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC.
At the event, it was stated that through a digital registration system, customers’ names, mobile numbers, and product barcodes are being stored on Walton’s servers. Customers are then informed about their rewards via return SMS through a fully computerized system. Previously, 44 customers have become millionaires through Walton’s digital campaigns, significantly transforming their lifestyles.
Also present at the inauguration were Walton refrigerator brand ambassador film actress Bidya Sinha Mim and Walton AC brand face national team cricketer Taskin Ahmed. Walton is also developing a “digital customer database” to bring after-sales services under online automation, enabling customers to receive prompt service even if warranty cards are lost. The authorities expressed optimism that the campaign will be successful with enthusiastic participation from customers nationwide.
