Xiaomi Bangladesh is set to introduce a major addition for tech enthusiasts with the upcoming launch of its new smartphone, the Redmi 17, this August. Designed to redefine expectations in the mid-range segment, the device focuses on extended battery life and long-term durability.
In a press release issued on Sunday, July 26, 2026, details regarding the smartphone's specifications were revealed. Equipped with a massive 7,500mAh battery, the device is engineered to deliver up to 2.32 days of power on a single charge under standard daily usage.
To address low-battery anxiety, the phone features 45W turbo charging technology, capable of reaching a 50 percent charge in just 45 minutes. Additionally, a 35-minute charge provides sufficient power for an entire day of basic use. For structural durability against accidental drops and scratches, the Redmi 17 incorporates Corning Gorilla Glass 7i alongside a dynamic RGB light design.
Multimedia performance remains a key highlight, with the battery supporting up to 91 hours of continuous music playback or 16 hours of YouTube Shorts streaming on a full charge.
