The first-year undergraduate admission test for the ‘C’ Unit was held smoothly and without disruption at Jashore University of Science and Technology (JUST) for the sixth time alongside other universities under the cluster system. A total of 1,699 seats were allocated for the ‘C’ Unit at JUST. According to officials concerned with the examination, more than 86.24 percent of students were present at the JUST center.

Under the GST integrated admission system, the ‘C’ Unit admission test for students from the Business Studies background was held on 27 March. The ‘B’ Unit (Humanities) admission test will be held on 3 April, and the ‘A’ Unit (Science) admission test will take place on 10 April from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. On the same day, the Architecture practical (drawing) test will be held from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

Regarding the smooth conduct of the admission test, JUST Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Abdul Majid said that the GST ‘C’ Unit admission test was held in a very fair and peaceful manner at the JUST center. He expressed sincere thanks to all teachers, officers, and staff of the university for successfully organizing the examination.

According to Dr. Md. Korban Ali, Coordinator of the JUST center and Dean of the Faculty of Science, the ‘C’ Unit examination was held at only one center at JUST due to the comparatively smaller number of candidates. For the convenience of students, digital banners displaying roll numbers, centers, and building directions were installed at various points across the campus. Additionally, members of the security sub-committee, BNCC, Rover Scouts, and other volunteers were deployed at the entrances of all buildings to assist students.

Earlier, comprehensive preparations were taken to ensure the smooth conduct of the cluster admission test at JUST. Adequate law enforcement personnel were deployed to prevent any sort of disorder and to maintain a conducive examination environment. After the exam began, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Abdul Majid, accompanied by Treasurer Professor Dr. Hossain Al Mamun, visited different examination halls.
