‘Rakkhosh’ Roars at Box Office as Tickets Sell Out Across Cineplexes
The popularity of the film Rakkhosh continues to surge in cinemas, with moviegoers flocking to theatres during the holidays. As a result, tickets for the film have been selling out rapidly. The update was shared on social media by the film’s director, Mehedi Hasan Hridoy.
In a Facebook post, he mentioned that no tickets were available for Rakkhosh at Star Cineplex’s Bashundhara branch on 26 March. Hridoy wrote, “All online tickets for every show of Rakkhosh on the 26th at Star Cineplex Bashundhara branch are already sold out.”
A similar situation was observed on 25 March at the same branch, where tickets were equally scarce. Sharing the update, the director wrote, “All tickets for Rakkhosh at Star Cineplex Bashundhara branch today (25 March) are sold out. To watch the film, you may visit other Cineplex branches. You can also watch Rakkhosh at Jamuna Blockbuster or Lion Cinemas.”
Through Rakkhosh, Siam Ahmed has appeared in a dark thriller for the first time. Opposite him stars Kolkata’s Sushmita Chatterjee. The film also features performances by Ali Raj, Sohel Mondol, among others. Bollywood actress Natalia Janoszek appears in a special song in the movie.
The film is produced by Shehrin Sumi under the banner of Real Energy. Shooting took place in Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Mumbai, India.
