Minister of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology, and Science and Technology, Fakir Mahbub Anam, has urged people to resolve any misunderstandings or confusion—arising from rumors or external influence—through discussion among themselves.

He made the call on Saturday, March 21, at an event held at the Tangail office of the municipal unit of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) in Dhanbari Upazila, Tangail, organized to pray for the eternal peace of former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia. He addressed both party followers and general citizens.

The minister said that the commitments made during the election would be implemented gradually and on a priority basis. He emphasized that unity and responsible conduct are essential to maintaining public trust, adding that discipline, integrity, and accountability are indispensable in this regard.

Highlighting the importance of unity among party leaders and activists, the minister said, “Everyone must work together in unity for the development of the area and the welfare of the people.” He expressed hope that through collective efforts, public expectations would be fulfilled and development in the area would gain further momentum.

In conclusion, he extended Eid greetings to the people of the country and all those present, wishing everyone good health, peace, and prosperity.

Local public representatives, political leaders, and distinguished individuals attended the event. Members of the public also warmly greeted him and shared the joy of Eid with him.
