BACCO Hosts Iftar for Orphaned and Underprivileged Children
Marking the significance of the holy month of Ramadan, the Bangladesh Association of Contact Center and Outsourcing organized an iftar gathering on Saturday, 14 March 2026, in honour of underprivileged, orphaned, and destitute children.
The iftar event was held at the premises of A U N Model Kamil Madrasa and Orphanage in Nayatola, Dhaka. Representatives of the BACCO Executive Committee, its members, and officials from the secretariat attended the program. During the event, BACCO representatives spent time with the madrasa and orphanage children, inquired about their well-being, and shared iftar together.
On the occasion, BACCO Executive Committee General Secretary Faisal Alim said, “As an organization representing the technology-driven service sector, BACCO is not only working for the development of the industry but is also undertaking various humanitarian initiatives as part of its social responsibility. Standing beside neglected and underprivileged people and sharing moments of joy with them is one of the organization’s key commitments.”
Just before the iftar, a special prayer and munajat were offered for the children of the orphanage, seeking overall welfare, peace, and prosperity for the country and the nation.
The madrasa authorities welcomed BACCO’s initiative and expressed gratitude for such humanitarian support for orphaned and underprivileged children. They expressed hope that similar initiatives would continue in the future and further strengthen the spirit of compassion and humanity in society.
