Kaspersky Expands Enterprise Cybersecurity Efforts Across APAC
Global cybersecurity company Kaspersky is strengthening its activities in the enterprise sector in response to growing cyber threats and rapid digital transformation in the Asia–Pacific (APAC) region.
The information was disclosed in a press release issued on Thursday, 12 March. The company currently operates in more than 200 countries worldwide.
According to the statement, Kaspersky currently provides more than 40 cybersecurity solutions for individuals, businesses, and government organizations. Having established a strong presence in the APAC region over the past two decades, the company is now focusing on expanding in markets such as Indonesia, India, Vietnam, and Greater China through regional partnerships and advanced security solutions.
Inna Nazarova, Vice President of International Corporate Sales at Kaspersky, said: “Serving international enterprise customers—especially in the APAC region—is a strategic priority for us. Through our extensive experience, global threat intelligence, and flexible solutions, we help organizations focus on their core business operations. At the same time, by working with our partners we aim to ensure stronger and more integrated cybersecurity protection. Our goal is also to further enhance and strengthen our partner ecosystem in this region. This will provide organizations with more reliable protection while enabling our partners to create new opportunities to expand their businesses.”
Experts believe cybersecurity risks may rise further in 2026. With increasing cyberattacks, rapid digital transformation, and geopolitical divisions, issues of security and trust are becoming increasingly significant.
According to Kaspersky data, nearly 500,000 malicious files were detected on average each day in 2025, representing a 7 percent increase compared to the previous year. During the same period, password-stealing malware rose by 59 percent, spyware by 51 percent, and backdoors by 6 percent. In the APAC region, incidents involving password stealers increased by 132 percent, while spyware incidents rose by 32 percent.
Adrian Hia, Managing Director for the Asia–Pacific region at Kaspersky, said: “Cybersecurity is no longer just an IT department issue; it is directly linked to business continuity and competitive capability. Organizations now need protection against large-scale attacks, fraud, and even highly sophisticated advanced persistent threat (APT) attacks. Our global visibility and intelligence-driven approach help customers anticipate complex cyber threats in advance.”
