US-Bangla to Operate Special Dubai Flights for Stranded Bangladeshis
Amid the ongoing situation in the Middle East, US-Bangla Airlines has announced a humanitarian initiative to stand beside expatriate Bangladeshis by operating two special flights from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka. Through these flights, Bangladeshis stranded in the United Arab Emirates will be able to return home.
US-Bangla stated that the first flight will depart from Dhaka airport for Dubai on Wednesday, March 4, at 7:20 pm. The same aircraft will depart from Dubai for Dhaka at 12:20 am local time.
The second special flight will leave Dhaka airport for Dubai on Thursday, March 5, at 5:15 pm. The return flight from Dubai will depart for Dhaka at 10:00 pm local time.
These special flights will be operated using a 436-seat Airbus A330-300 aircraft. The Dhaka–Dubai flight number is BS-341, and the Dubai–Dhaka flight number is BS-342.
The information was confirmed in the early hours of March 4 by Md. Kamrul Islam, General Manager of US-Bangla Airlines.
It has been learned that the Dubai Airport Authority, considering the overall situation, has granted permission to several airlines, including US-Bangla, Emirates, and Air India, to operate special flights.
Bangladeshis whose visas have already expired or are about to expire will be given priority to travel on these flights.
