DEAB Forms 92-Member Central Committee, Rubel Named Organizing Secretary

To ensure the smooth conduct of the organizational activities of the Diploma Engineers Association of Bangladesh (DEAB), a 92-member central committee has been announced. The committee was formed based on the opinions of the majority of members of the 33-member central convener committee, including three leaders authorized to sign on behalf of the central committee. Engineer Ghulam Kibria Rubel, Convener of the DSCC Officers’ Association and an Executive Engineer, has been appointed as Organizing Secretary.

The committee was announced through a press release signed on Sunday evening, 1 March, by DEAB Central Executive Committee Joint Convener Engineer Imam Uddin, Acting Convener Engineer Md. Muslim Uddin, and Member Secretary Engineer Kazi Sakhawat Hossain.

In addition to Engineer Ghulam Kibria Rubel, those included as members are Engineer Mir Hossain Patowary Milon, Engineer Moniruzzaman Monir, Engineer Amiruzzaman Biplas, Engineer Taiyab Ali Mukul, Engineer Abdullah Al Titu, Engineer Wali Ullah Bhunya, Engineer Md. Jahangir Alam, Engineer S M Firoz, Engineer S M Kalam Hossain, Engineer Md. Alamgir Hossain, Engineer Md. Masudur Rahman Masud, Engineer Mahfuz Alam Mithu, Engineer Shahabuddin Sabu, Engineer Obaidul Alam, Engineer Yunus Ali Molla, Engineer Mehedi Hasan, Engineer Rafiqul Islam Sohel, Engineer Ainul Alam, Engineer Md. Parvez Mosharraf Radhi, Engineer Hadisur Rahman Shahin, Engineer M A Gani, Engineer Shahin Uddin, Engineer Md. Tuhinuzzaman Tuhin, among others.

It is noteworthy that Engineer Ghulam Kibria Rubel is currently serving as Executive Engineer (Civil) of Region-7 and the Market Construction Cell of the Dhaka South City Corporation. He is also serving as Convener of Dhadsik Diprakous. In addition, he previously served as President of the Sutrapur Thana Chhatra Dal.
