In recognition of his outstanding contributions to information technology education, MikroTik Certified Trainer Titas Sarkar recently received an esteemed award at the National Tech Awards held in Dhaka.

Titas Sarkar is the founder of the popular online learning platform BD E-Learning. Through this platform, he has long been creating and publishing video tutorials on networking, cybersecurity, and other IT skill development topics. His content has already played a significant role in enhancing the skills of countless students and IT professionals. This year, he applied for the National Tech Award based on his BD E-Learning initiative.

Speaking with DBTech, Sarkar shared that during the creation of his video tutorials, he came into contact with a publisher. Later, he organized his experience and content to publish four technology-focused books. Among these, his notable work is titled MikroTik Router and Security.

After publishing the book, he presented it to MikroTik staff at the ‘MikroTik User Meeting’ conference. At that time, a MikroTik employee suggested that he become a MikroTik Certified Trainer and encouraged him to participate in the ‘Train the Trainer’ program held in Thailand.

Subsequently, he attended the training program and successfully earned recognition as a MikroTik Certified Trainer. This achievement allows him to provide international MikroTik training and conduct vendor certification exams.

Following this accomplishment, he began creating all his content in English, which quickly expanded his recognition beyond Bangladesh. In line with this, he has recently conducted MikroTik-related training and technical sessions in Nepal, Thailand, Singapore, and Malaysia.

Regarding his future plans, Titas Sarkar stated that he aims to create even more advanced digital content and work to create employment opportunities for certified IT engineers both within Bangladesh and internationally.
