Kaspersky Industrial Cybersecurity Solution Secures Top Score in Independent OT Certification Test

The industrial cybersecurity solution ‘Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes’ has achieved top results in the Operational Technology (OT) certification test conducted by independent evaluation organization AV-Comparatives. In the assessment, the solution successfully blocked all types of offline post-breach execution-based cyberattacks and generated no false positive alerts.

The solution demonstrated effective protection even in complex attack scenarios. It is part of the Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity platform, which works to secure operational technology environments of industrial enterprises and critical infrastructure through Extended Detection and Response (XDR) technology.

Adrian Hia, Managing Director for Asia-Pacific at Kaspersky, stated that in the current OT threat landscape, many assume that legacy or isolated systems are secure, which is a major misconception. Due to rapid digital transformation, security risks are increasing across the Asia-Pacific region. The independent certification by AV-Comparatives proves that Kaspersky’s solution is capable of detecting and preventing attacks even in offline and post-breach situations.
