In today’s fast-paced, technology-driven business environment, managing teams and effectively monitoring employees remains a significant challenge. Addressing this need, automated time tracking and productivity management software ‘TimoDesk’ has entered the market.

The application allows project tasks to be easily assigned and shared among team members. It continues collecting data even during offline work and automatically syncs once an internet connection is restored. All features are available at a monthly cost of just $1 per user. With added Linux support, the platform has also become more accessible to open-source users.

According to the company, TimoDesk reduces the hassle of manual time input and can help boost productivity by approximately 20 to 30 percent. The software runs in the background of a computer and automatically tracks working hours.

At regular intervals, it captures screenshots, monitors application usage, and stores detailed logs for each task, offering a clear overview of employee activity. Compared to traditional timer-based systems, its activity-based tracking approach minimizes manual errors and improves time management accuracy. The platform includes features such as activity level insights, app usage data, timeline views, project breakdowns, and daily, weekly, and monthly summaries. These reports enable managers to identify inefficiencies and areas where time may be wasted.

A report by Capterra noted that nearly 51 percent of HR leaders consider time tracking to be extremely important for effective team management.

According to TimoDesk, more than 40 million screenshots have already been captured through the platform, and over 5,000 projects have been monitored to date.
