Revenue Rises, Returns Rewarded: Robi Reports Robust 2025 Results

Listed mobile operator Robi Axiata Limited maintained a strong position in the capital market in 2025, achieving notable profitability during the year. In the fourth quarter (October–December), the company’s profit after tax (PAT) stood at Tk 311.9 crore. For the full year, total PAT reached Tk 937.1 crore.

On Thursday, February 19, the operator disclosed its fourth-quarter financial results, reporting that total revenue for 2025 amounted to Tk 9,992.2 crore—an increase of 0.4% compared to 2024. Revenue from voice services declined by 2.9% year-on-year, while data revenue grew by 5.1% compared to the previous year.

Robi’s Board of Directors has recommended a 17.5% cash dividend (Tk 1.75 per share) for 2025, representing 97.8% of the total PAT. The recommendation was approved at a board meeting held on February 19. The company has scheduled its 30th Annual General Meeting (AGM) for April 22.

In 2025, Robi’s earnings per share (EPS) stood at Tk 1.79, marking a 33.3% increase compared to the previous year. The company’s total capital expenditure for the year amounted to Tk 1,304.1 crore. By the end of 2025, Robi had contributed Tk 6,201.1 crore to the national exchequer in taxes, equivalent to 62% of its total annual revenue.

As of December 2025, Robi’s total active subscriber base reached 57.4 million. Of these, 44.5 million were data subscribers and 39.9 million were 4G users. Data users accounted for 77.5% of total active subscribers, while 69.5% were 4G users—the highest ratio of data and 4G subscribers among mobile operators in the country.

On a quarterly basis, Robi’s total revenue in the fourth quarter of 2025 stood at Tk 2,584.9 crore, up 2.9% compared to the previous quarter. Compared to the third quarter, voice revenue increased by 0.5% and data revenue by 4.6% in Q4.

During the fourth quarter, Robi’s earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) reached Tk 1,294.8 crore, reflecting a 0.1% increase from the previous quarter. The EBITDA margin stood at 50.1%, down 1.4 percentage points compared to Q3. EPS for the fourth quarter was Tk 0.6.

Capital expenditure in the fourth quarter amounted to Tk 686.2 crore. During the same period, the company paid Tk 1,596.9 crore to the government exchequer, equivalent to 62% of its quarterly revenue.
