EC App Enables Voters to Locate Polling Stations Easily
Bangladesh’s 13th National Parliamentary Election and referendum are set to be held on Thursday, February 12. Voters can now access polling station maps through the Election Commission’s app, Smart Election Management BD, as well as its official website.
Through the Smart Election Management BD app, voters can view their voter number, polling center information, and an interactive map.
To check the distance between their home and their polling station, voters need to download and install the app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. After installation, users must select “13th National Parliamentary Election” from the dashboard and click on the “Find Polling Station” option.
By entering their National ID (NID) number and date of birth, voters will be able to see their voter number, voter serial number, polling station name and address, along with a map display. By clicking on the map, they can view the exact location of the polling center.
Additionally, voters can obtain polling information by calling or sending an SMS to the hotline number 105.
