Jamal Joins Free Fire as Brand Ambassador
Jamal Booyah, captain of the Bangladesh national football team, has been appointed as the brand ambassador of Free Fire, one of the world’s most popular mobile games. The move aims to further connect people with Bangladeshi football while inspiring young players and football fans across the country. Jamal Bhuiyan was named brand ambassador last month as part of this initiative.
The announcement was made through a press release on Monday, January 5, by the Free Fire game authorities.
According to the press release, under this new initiative, Free Fire has introduced the official jersey of the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) as an in-game item starting January 1. This allows Bangladeshi gamers to represent the national football team on the game’s virtual battlefield. The BFF jersey will be available free of cost, and gamers can unlock it by completing a special mission.
The inclusion of the BFF jersey in Free Fire is being seen as a special feature for Bangladeshi gamers, enabling them to express their support and love for the national football team while playing the game.
Alongside digital activities, Jamal Booyah will also visit the Maniknagar Football Academy, which operates under the Bangladesh Football Federation. In addition, he will meet with young footballers and Free Fire influencers as part of the campaign.
