Asif Mahmud Claims Facebook Page Taken Down After Coordinated Reporting on Osman Hadi
Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuiyan, one of the key coordinators of the student–public uprising, has claimed that he lost his official Facebook page after it was mass-reported over posts related to Inqilab Mancha spokesperson Sharif Osman Hadi.
In a post from his personal Facebook account on Friday, 26 February, Asif Mahmud said his official page had been removed following coordinated reporting and strikes. “All posts and videos related to Osman Hadi bhai were struck and mass-reported, leading to the removal of my official page with over three million followers,” he wrote.
The former adviser to the interim government further alleged that links to his content were shared across multiple Telegram groups to facilitate coordinated reporting. According to him, three separate videos concerning Osman Hadi received strikes, ultimately resulting in the takedown of his page.
The incident has sparked discussion on social media over coordinated reporting, content moderation, and freedom of expression on digital platforms.
